Dear MHCA Region Leaders,

We have some fantastic education opportunities coming up in February and March, that I would love for you to share with those attending your upcoming region meetings.  We are hosting a ICD-10 Home Health Coding Bootcamp in February.  As you know, there's a lot riding on the accurate assignment of codes and this training will ensure you and your agency are prepared for ICD-10 and the way it fundamentally changes the home health industry.

We are also hosting a Medicare Summit with national speaker, Jennifer Warfield, in March. This summit will cover Face-to-Face Regulations, the Star Rating system, Recertification Regulations, New COPs, ADRs and Denials, and lessons learned in ICD-10.  This is a “can’t-miss” session for all Medicare-certified agencies.  This training will be especially important, as you work to improve your CMS Star Ratings!

Lastly, we do have some great webinars comings up.  The MHCA Rehabilitation Team is presenting in February on Justifying Therapy thru OASIS Accuracy and we are also running an Application Aptitude Webinar Series (useful apps for home care clinicians, clients, and caregivers) in March/April.
