Greetings,

I hope you all had a great meeting! Just a few follow up items:

  1. If you have not already done so, please send your sign-in sheets to either myself or Melissa ASAP.
  2. Please send your OASIS-D1 questions to me prior to February 15th. This will help LoAnn create her presentation.
  3. We have a potential topic for the September 9th meeting and would like your feedback. Do you think folks would be interested in defensive training from a legal perspective? The title is TBD, but the speaker would likely be an attorney and answer questions such as:
    1. If a nurse defends her/himself in a dangerous situation, can I get sued?
    2. What should I train my staff to do?
    3. What can I do as a provider to mitigate danger to my staff prior to admitting?
    4. What questions are we legally allowed to ask (criminal status, sexual predator status, etc)?
  4. What do people think of getting back to more of a regular schedule for 2021? Perhaps the 3rd month of every quarter (March, June, September, December)? We have tried to avoid summer meetings, but I think we could get folks to attend by choosing a really good topic or just anticipate lower attendance in June. Thoughts?

Thanks so much, have a wonderful weekend!
