I thought I should share that we officially had a unanimous decision to “pause” MN HomeCare PAC efforts. I will be sending an email to MHCA members regarding this and our enhanced efforts on grassroots in 2019.

Subject: Future of PAC - response requested

A big thank you to Dave Hancox and Mike Sokoloski from BAYADA for staffing a PAC table at the recent MHCA Fall Conference. I would like to suggest that the PAC board give serious consideration to the future of the MN Homecare PAC. The MHCA Board has concurred that the MHCA staff does not have sufficient bandwidth to dedicate resources to the PAC at this time.

I believe it is worth considering pausing the PAC activity. If members are willing to engage and proactively plan and implement fund raising activities in the future, we could re-engage. Your input is greatly appreciated so Dave can determine whether to continue pursuing a date for a PAC board meeting. Please share your thoughts via a reply all or emailing Dave or myself. Thank you!
