Subject: PAC on pause - voted requested
Happy Holidays to all!
I have talked with Dave and Melissa regarding the future of the Homecare PAC. As Dave indicated in a previous email, we don’t have the volunteer power or traction needed to keep the PAC active at this point
in time. We are recommending that we focus on growing MHCA grassroots advocacy in 2019 and put PAC on pause. We would re-visit it for 2020.
This would mean that there will not be a PAC silent auction or wall of wine at the Annual Meeting and a message regarding the change would be shared with MHCA members – encouraging them to get engaged.
PAC Board Members – please reply all to this email, indicating your vote on whether we move forward with this recommendation.
