I will start with the excellent news!!!

We have our first agreement signed with Fueled Growth!!! 👏👏👏 Depending on the number of employees that are signed up, this is likely to be $2,000/month non-dues revenue for MHCA! Jeff is close to closing a 2nd deal and talking with a few others.

Operations
It’s been a busy October, with budgeting, preparing for the Paid Leave program, focusing on greater staff efficiencies, and more! Paulette and I are beginning to develop a plan for expanded consulting, as I mentioned at the September meeting.

I will be orientating our three new board members and they plan to join us as guests for the December meeting, as we’ve done in the past. And, we just have one slot remaining for committee leadership. We will determine that one once all of the applications are in.

I’ll be headed to the Alliance conference and a meeting with my peers – our 2nd one that includes home care and hospice associations.

Advocacy
The Alliance crafted a coalition letter addressed to Congressional leadership, advocating against the proposed Medicare cuts. I was able to secure five signatures from MN stakeholder organization. I am grateful for the collaboration in MN!

The Workforce Workgroup is once again attending the HOSA conference. We will host a session with interactive stations and have a table with more interactive opportunities.
