That is certainly true.It also seems like this is a hard subject to motivate people about.

About half of the conference attendees left before the advocacy sessions, missing our leg priorities, learning the importance of citizen advocacy and hearing from legislators who have taken time to join us. 

I would appreciate any insights about how to help our members understand that THEY need to be engaged.....it can’t all be done by staff. As Tara just said, “No one carries a louder voice with a legislator than their constituent!”
