I agree with this.  I appreciate 2.11, that they are including input from representation by Home Care and Facilities.

Thank you

Subject: amendment language for Rep. Kiel

Hi--I was asked to prepare language for Rep. Kiel for H.F. 3308, to be offered tomorrow in HHF reform. The language requires nursing facilities and home care providers to submit corrective action plans to the commissioner of health for violations of state law. It also requires the commission of health to develop a proposal and draft legislation to allow the imposition of immediate penalties on long-term care facilities and providers for serious violations of state law. If you could review the language and give me feedback about workability or problems with it, I would appreciate it. I need feedback by 1:30 today in order to meet the reform committee's 3 pm amendment deadline. Thanks.

Elisabeth
