MHCA has been invited to testify at the House Aging Subcommittee on Weds regarding the provider prospective and vulnerable adult/elder abuse. 

 

 Kevin had an early conversation with this Committee Chair (Kiel) quite some time ago about “being cautious not to over react with regulations” and I believe she is truly open to the provider perspective. Kevin is recommending that we accept the invitation and  suggested that I may be the best candidate to ensure we don’t have a provider that has had a vulnerable adult issue. He is thinking we may want to keep it short, using the MHCA talking points.
