Dear MHCA Board Members:

I am making an ask that is atypical. We just learned that Senator John Hoffman has a tough re-election campaign. He has been a strong advocate for our issues and it is very important that we support him. As Kevin states, “We need him in the Senate. He is the chief proponent of the spenddown solutions.“ You may recall that Senator Hoffman has been willing to step away from his busy schedule to speak with us for our Day at the Capitol also. Unfortunately, Senator Hoffman can no longer take PAC or Lobbyist money so Kevin and I are asking you to consider a personal donation. I know that I am including Republicans in this request and would ask that you consider reaching across the aisle for a Senator that has had significant influence on the services you provide.
