That is low! The venue seemed good last year and the topics look good this year. The pre-conference didn’t jump out at me when registering but that wouldn’t affect total registration I wouldn’t think. With
the Star Report emphasis and the ADRS going through agencies not to mention the 5% campaign all over the news, it would seem people would be interested in education and networking. I had our staff member attending the region meeting today talk it up, but
attendance there has been poor also.

I sent this to Austin yesterday (we had approximately 10 more register yesterday):
Budgeted: 250 attendees (based on last year)
Today: 165 registered
Typical registration following early bird deadline (which is today): 20-30 max

I would be interested in how low and what is normal at this time.

I agree with the one day option. In the past that was an opportunity.

The attendance is extremely low for the upcoming Annual Meeting and we are looking for your insight!
An email blast is scheduled to go out tomorrow and I’d appreciate your thoughts on what would capture your peers attention. We have a few ideas but your perspective is greatly appreciated. Please reply to me with ideas by 10 am tomorrow (Thurs).
Thanks everyone!
