The Medication Mgmt & Licensure education program is next week and we would like to see the registration numbers climb a bit further; thus far, 61 are registered. Please encourage colleagues to register for the most up-to-date
information on topics such as med mgmt. and supervision.
§
We had an increased number of members express interest in teams and staff is working through the applications. The Exec Committee will meet Friday to appoint Chairs and the Board will review and approve proposed team rosters at
the July meeting.
§
The EHR Task Force continues to make good progress. We are seeking a few providers who are not EHR-savvy for the toolkit review process. I have a couple of names but would welcome a few more. Please send ideas to me.
§
I am still seeking agency Medical Director names for the Physician Advisory Group dialogue.
Organizational:
§
For those unable to attend the conference call last week, the board voted to approve the co-location with MCCA, with a caveat that we need to negotiate further on conference room availability. I have been exchanging email with
Gayle and understand that a discussion may not be until next week. I will keep you posted. I did receive confirmation that “once MHCA has been phased into a full allocation for the public spaces we would have full access to the conference rooms for scheduling
purposes.”
§
I am finalizing a contract for temporary assistance during Annie’s leave. I consulted with Serakos and did some comparative shopping.
§
I will be doing a board orientation for Sue Morgan this week.
§
The MHCA Office will be closed Thursday afternoon for a staff event. We have the opportunity to do something at no cost and are taking advantage of that. We will indicate the closure on our voicemail and emails – and will respond
to member calls and emails Friday morning.
