I love your approach…it makes sense!

 

We work primarily with pediatric subspecialists so my guess is MHCA will benefit from a broader physician perspective than our very narrow niche.  If pediatric home care does come up as an area of interest, let me know.  We work with a few physicians that are passionate about home care for children with medical complexity.  Also, we provide primarily skilled extended care…visits are gaining some traction in pediatric but it is slow going.  Peds home care visits are more prevalent in other countries (e.g. Canada) so maybe someday it will be a better used resource in the US.

PS  Part of my role in the Peds Practice (our home office in NJ) is our Physician Advisory Board so let me know if I can help with any of the foundational pieces.  

 

 

 

As I am talking with individuals regarding the Physicians Advisory Group, I’m come to the conclusion that it would be best to invite a select few physicians to brainstorm with a couple of board members and myself about what this group should focus on. I would like to collect names of home care medical directors that we might invite to a planning/brainstorming meeting. They may or may not be invite to participate on the actual Physicians Advisory Group. I would like to develop a list of potential invitees and hoping you will share the name of your medical director with me. I’d appreciate receiving the names by June 15.
