MCCA has not given me a price. The board indicated that they would be willing to “subsidize us for a few years.” It may have been buried in all of the details, but the psf cost I am proposing for Year 5 is equivalent to the last bid they had from the landlord for year one. MCCA is going to try negotiating further so I don’t know where they’ll land. That being said, by Year 5, the last bid would be closer to $27 psf. So, I suspect we are off by a couple dollars psf. But, we are offering to cover the lease cost for the conference room so I’m hoping they’ll make an allowance for that. Again, this info is confidential – thanks!

Well done!  I like the conference room idea…nice way to have your cake and eat it too! How close is our proposal to what they have suggested our cost per square ft./annual rent would be if we share space?  

 

 

 

I’ve attached a draft proposal for office space at MCCA (LeadingAge and MHA). Please note that this gives us negotiating room.
