Agree- with Austin and Jan. Also some member agencies use supplemental staffing agencies and as part of MDH surveys, have been asked to provide proof they are registered as SNSAs on the MDH website.

I don’t think it impacts us directly.  Do you know any more about the legislation to determine any indirect affects?  The CP legislation does not directly apply to us but it certainly could have an impact.  I do not believe any members would be characterized as a Supplemental Nursing Agency.

Some proposed legislative changes will impact “supplemental nursing services agencies" (as defined in MN statute 144A.70). The changes appear to be specific to those agencies.

 

Do you believe MHCA has member that fall into this category? I suspect not – but want to make sure. If we do, Anni will send it for MHCA review.
