We had a media story land in our lap today. Thanks to NAHC, Dan and Brianna for helping me prepare for the short turnaround story.

AARP’s federal “Credit for Caring Act,” would provide financial support for individual caregivers by providing up to a $5,000 nonrefundable federal tax credit for eligible working family caregivers, that would cover 30% of qualified expenses they incurred above $2,000. KARE 11 reached out for our perspective on this congressional legislation, and they plan to air the story at 5 pm today. While we don’t know what sound bites they’ll use, I focused on the workforce shortage.
