I am absolutely OK with the eliminating the “opt out” language. Conferences are expensive for vendors – and while SimiTree is committed to supporting our state associations – I totally get it.
A list of attendees is most important.

Dear Board of Directors,
One of my January tasks includes reviewing policies. I will be bring the Finance Policy to the Finance Committee for review. While I made a few tweaks to the Operations Policy, there is one suggested change that impacts members. I’d like
to get your opinion on this one before I change it.
Current Policy: Exhibitor: MHCA will provide all exhibitors/sponsors with a pre-attendee list and a post- attendee list. Full name, title, organization, email, and mailing address are included on the attendee
list. All
lists are
provided in
Excel format.
Conference attendees
have the
right to
opt out and will be given this opportunity at the time of registration.
Background: It is becoming more challenging to secure exhibitors for our Annual Meeting. Many companies are opting to just attend national conference, with maybe a few large state conferences (NC, FL, New England combined conference,
etc). To provide the greatest value for exhibitors, we would like to eliminate the “opt-out” option for members. We tested this for the 2023 conference and did not receive any complaints.
Please let me know if you are NOT ok with us eliminating this statement: “Conference
