The Board packet for next week’s meeting is in the portal.

Kevin will have an legislative update for you at the meeting, but I will share that home care funding is included in both the Senate and House Health and Human Services Omnibus bills. We are far from over but this is an excellent next step! I testified at the House hearing earlier this week, asking them to consider additional funding and will testify at the Senate hearing tomorrow, with a simple thank you! We’ll discuss the details at the meeting but the bills range from 15 – 55% increases.

Lastly, the Home Care Association of America and the National Association for Home Care and Hospice worked together on a workforce report. It’s hot off the press and I have not yet read it, but wanted you to have it. I will also be asking the Workforce Workgroup to discuss whether there is anything in here that we should focus on.
