USE CAUTION - EXTERNAL EMAIL

I hope you all can assist us with this important advocacy by making 3 phone calls this week! NAHC is asking for a big push this week and we know that the offices do track the number of calls coming in!! The details are below.

I have reached out to all the Congressional offices again today. Let’s raise our voices!!

Kind Regards,

Subject: We need your help!

We have one final chance to stop cuts to payment rates

A couple minutes can help us stop payment cuts

CMS has doubled down on proposed payment rate cuts. Thank you for your help sending messages to Congress before the Final Rule was released, but now more than ever we need congressional intervention to stop these cuts before the end of the year.

In a final push and in partnership with NAHC, we’re asking you to make a couple quick phone calls to congressional offices to show your support for the Preserving Access to Home Health bill. Please note: The authors will be bringing an amendment to the negotiations to shorten the pause period and increase transparency from CMS.

Don’t worry, it’s super easy! You’ll speak to a receptionist, and they won’t ask you to provide details. All you have to do is call your assigned Senator and Representatives and follow the scripts below.

Thank you for standing by MHCA with your advocacy in this crucial time. With enough voices being raised, we’re hoping to make a stand and put a stop to these harmful cuts! Make your three calls today!

Senator Klobuchar: 202-224-3244  |  Senator Smith: 202-244-5641

“Hi. I am a constituent calling today to ask for support in Senate file 4605, the Preserving Access to Home Health Act. I would also like to ask the Senator reach out to Senators Stabenow and Collins to support their efforts in this critical matter.”

Representative Finstad: 202-225-3433  |  Representative McCollum: 202-225-6631

Representative Omar: 202-225-4755  |  Representative Emmer: 202-225-2331

Representative Fischbach: 202-225-2165  |  Representative Stauber: 202-225-6211

“Hi. I am a constituent calling today to ask for support in House file 8581, the Preserving Access to Home Health Act. I would also like to ask the Representative to reach out to Representatives Sewell and Buchanan to support their efforts in this critical matter.”

Representative Craig: 202-225-2271  |  Representative Phillips: 202-225-6351

“Hi. I am a constituent calling today to thank the Representative for their support in House file 8581, the Preserving Access to Home Health Act. I would also like to ask the Representative to reach out to their colleagues asking them to sign onto this important bill.”
