I met with Jan today and discussed the EHR Task Force idea again. There was so much interest and energy around Candy’s presentation at the Fall Conference and I’ve had several members express an interest in an EHR initiative. It seems that, at the very least, a task force could provide input to the Education Team regarding education for our members. Please respond to the following:

 

1)      Do you approve forming an EHR Task Force? The purpose of the group would be to identify members’ needs around EHRs and to recommend activities/topics that would address those needs.   _____ yes  ______no

 

2)      If we form this task force, we discussed the following membership:

a.      At least one board member

b.      3-5 other provider members

c.      Candy Hanson, Stratis Health

d.      1-2 business partners

 

If you are interested or have a recommendation for a member, please forward that information to me. Are you ok with Jan, as Board Chair, approving the task force membership? ____ yes            _____ no
