Contact your Senators about The Preserving Access to Home Health Act of 2022

 

We Need Your Voice!

Bipartisan lawmakers in the US Senate introduced legislation yesterday in partnership with NAHC that would prevent a 7.69% permanent cut to home health payments, and we need your help convincing our Senators to support the bill.

As you know, payment cuts of this level would devastate access to home health services across the state, especially in rural areas and for medically underserved patients. MHCA has seen three Medicare Certified agencies close their doors in recent months due to the inability to find and retain staff, and the proposed payment cuts are sure to exacerbate this issue.

Please take just a few minutes to send a note to the Minnesota Senators through the MHCA Advocacy Center as soon as you’re able. By taking swift and unified action, we hope members of Congress will see the urgency of the request and support the bill.

We expect the House of Representatives to propose a companion bill by the end of this week, so watch for another note from MHCA and be ready to send a message to your Representatives!
