For those that may be wondering about the Gov’s video message…….I made the executive decision not to play it after it arrived early this am. He only talks about PCAs and people with disabilities. We now know that the Gov needs to be educated
about home care and home health – and the critical role you all play during Covid! While it was a heart warming message, I was concerned that it would only frustrate home health providers.
We will try to ascertain the most respectful way to provide this education to him. If anyone has good connections, please let me know!

As you know November is home care month and each year the MN Governor has signed a proclamation. With the Annual Meeting being in November, we asked Governor Walz if he’d be available to ‘stop in’ or send a video message to our ‘front-line’
members.
I am thrilled to share that we’ll be able to share a video message from Gov Walz!! We are awaiting details but tentatively plan on playing this Monday.
