It sounds like a good plan.  I agree with Sue, Judy would be a strengthening asset.

As we are thinking through the ramifications of postponing the Annual Meeting, one thing we didn’t discuss during the meeting is the Annual Business Meeting. Members will need to vote on the Bylaws change and the Board positions. In order to help them understand why we are changing the Bylaws/dates, we’ll need to announce that the Annual Meeting is moving to fall. That was all going to happen at the Business Meeting in May.

 

Here’s the staff recommendation:

• Do a short video with a message from me (Judy could be included) – brief highlights, announce the conference change and the interim 18-month committee term, as well as the Nominations slate).
• Follow-up with a survey for the vote on board positions and Bylaws. Survey Monkey was used for our voting for years before we began voting at the meeting a couple years alo.
• This could be done in early May so voting is wrapped up by mid-May when we would have met.
