I agree with Andrea that PDGM has been covered extensively. And I am unfamiliar with the other options because we operate in the Medicaid and Managed Care space. It sounds like Lauri is a good option. I am curious about the entry of Medicare Advantage plans and how these payers will design and implement policy and coverage benefits.

We are working on the Fall Conference agenda and considering national speakers for the Policy and Future of Home Care days. With Bill Dombi having just been here and confirmed for the 2020 Annual Mtg, we don’t plan to consider him. Colin Roskey was always a hit but he now works for HHS and can not speak at our conferences. While there are a couple other options to consider,  I’d like your feedback……should we bring in a B or C squad presenter that can cover the breadth of federal policy issues OR consider something more topical for the closing /federal session. A few ideas around that include:

  • Tim Ashe, Fazzi – I have an ask out to him regarding presenting at the Future Summit but I suspect he has a couple of topics and may also be able to cover something around policy.
  • PDGM related
  • Lauri Domingo, NGS; always a popular presenter

We are hoping to get Gina from Fazzi or someone else for a PDGM session on the “Future Summit” day also.

Please send your ideas as soon as possible. Thank you!!
