I’ve talked with Kim and with Barb Blumer, the attorney who wrote our bylaws. While the bylaws give the board the authority to vote in the case of vacancies, she agrees with the board majority that including Mary’s replacement on the ballot is wise. Kim and I believe this will be perceived as more transparent and will give members’ more of a voice.
