I wanted to share some great news with you. We had an extremely productive Payment Reform Workgroup meeting yesterday!

Greg Von Arx and Kevin played a pivotal role in developing an ask that would be a BIG win for providers and considered reasonable by legislators. Lisa Flynn, Leg and MA Teams and Toni Diede, MA Team also participated and provided valuable insights.

We are proposing that MA rates be based on a percentage of Medicare LUPA rates. That would ensure sustainability so we don’t need to continue asking for increases on a regular basis. We will provide additional information (such as how we address the HCN per hour vs per visit rates) and bring this to the Board for approval but I wanted to share that we made excellent progress!
