Hello Workgroup!

 

The next CMS Home Health, Hospice and DME Open Door Forum is tomorrow, Wednesday 8/7@ 1pm for those interested in participating.  The agenda with registration information is attached, along with a copy of the July ODF transcript (including link to recording) and Q&A.

 

Additional follow-up from the July workgroup meeting:

• Bill of Rights: Per Kathy, the bill with changes to the BOR was pulled near the end of the legislative session and is to be discussed over the summer.
• MN EVV compliance date 9/1/24: DHS has asked providers to review available resources and FAQs, and then utilize this email with questions if they have not been addressed: https://edocs.mn.gov/forms/DHS-8168-ENG
• PEPPER Report RFI: CMS is seeking feedback on the PEPPER reports.  See previous email sent to team 8/1 for additional details.  Please send any feedback you have regarding the PEPPER report to the workgroup email by 8/12
• “Information for Providers on Home Health Orders”: Attached is the document Rachel drafted and presented at our last meeting.  Again, the goal of the document is to educate providers regarding home health order requirements, with potential to provide to MHCA membership as a resource for consistent provider education.  Please review prior to our next meeting on 8/28.
