That would be a delegated task and the regs or Board of Nursing do not have a list of approved delegated tasks. I attended a webinar awhile and this is what the speaker shared with us. Hope this helps

I have a member question that I cannot locate the exact regs on.

If a HHA is competency tested, can they perform a finger stick for a client to obtain a blood glucose reading when the client is not able to complete this on their own?

Any thoughts?
