Hello! I reached out to someone on my team that has been on the rehab team for the MHCA to ask about the COTA supervision questions we had and this is what she had to share.

In regards to face to face, our rehab team has queried the board on this a couple times and the response is that as long as it is “interactive” it counts as “face to face. “ So video chat is fine, phone is fine, in person is fine, but an email would not suffice.  If your team comes up with a different response from the board Id love to hear – but since we acted with caution and did choose in person/teams I think we will be fine either way. It’s the phone that has been gray over the years…
