Hello! Please read the message below from Kathy. Does anyone have an examples that we could share to support this advocation for delay? I know I myself am swamped and the thought of pulling 40 charts would probably send me over the edge lol. With the exponential growth in home and community based services, along with our staffing challenges, this would be a great hardship.

NAHC is advocating that the MACs delay the TPEs announcement of starting up Sept 1^st due to Covid and the significant staffing shortages. We discussed this during a meeting today and Bill Dombi suggested that sending some examples of the impact on agencies could be valuable. I would the Medicare Workgroup to come up with some examples of the workload that agencies are dealing with, in light of our current environment and how this would make pulling 40 claims would be extraordinarily challenging at this time.
