I agree. A Regulatory listserv for Medicare-certified and one for comprehensive-only agencies would be a great resource for members. I know I would use it!

I love the idea of having a listserv for regulatory issues! I’m wondering if it would make more sense to have a listserv for “Regulatory- Medicare Certified Agencies” AND “Regulatory- Comprehensive-only
Agencies”? Just a suggestion- but I think either way, it would be a great resource for the member.

Hi Medicare workgroup,
MHCA is constantly looking at ways to make sure that your membership is of great value to not only you, but your agency. With that said, we are looking into the possibility of creating more listservs for all of our members.
Two of the listservs we are considering would be for Medicare related topics.
We are thinking of adding the following:
Regulatory Compliance/MDH
Regulatory Compliance/CMS
For those that are unfamiliar with a listserv, it would function just as our email group does. Anyone can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time. If someone has a question that falls under the listservs topic, they would send an email and
anyone on that chain could respond. Right now, MHCA currently has two of these (one for billing and one for coding) and we have had good feedback/member involvement.
I was wondering if anyone on the workgroup had any thoughts/ideas around this?
