Our system is 1 point = 1 hour...
SOC: 4 points
ROC, Eval: 3
Recert: 2.5
Routine Visit: 1.5
Agency DC: 2.5

This includes driving time, in-home time, and doc time. We staff to their hours, so someone who works 8 hour days gets 8 points/day, or it averages out by the end of the week. I'd say the average time for our RN admissions is a little under 3.5 hours, including in home time and additional doc time outside the home, but not including travel time.

Hello, here is ours:

SOC-3

ROC-2

Recert-1.5

Routine-1

DC-1

Mileage 25 miles = 0.5 points

Meetings/education is 1hr=1 point

Daily expectation is 6.5 points. When I do skilled Medicare admissions, I would say I am in the home a good 1.25-1.5 hours. It takes me about an hour and half (uninterrupted) to finish everything back up in the office. With covid we are not mandating finishing charting in the home, so it has been taking a little bit longer after the admission.

Subject: nurse productivity

Hi all,

Would anyone be willing to share the nurse productivity expectations that you have for your staff? Does that include mileage, education, etc? How long do you think an admission visit takes for a typical semi-complicated patient in the home and back at the office?

Thank you!

Katie
