Hi team!

I may have asked this before, but it’s coming up again as an issue with PDGM.

Our 485s have a spot on them for the F2F date. If we do not have a F2F date before the SOC (client hasn’t been seen yet, our staff hasn’t confirmed the date of the MD visit, etc.), we hold the 485 until we have that date and can enter it for it to get sent to the MD. With PDGM’s 30-day billing cycle, we cannot hold them this long as it is holding up approval of orders and billing.

How do your agencies handle this? Do you require a F2F date before taking the client on for services (not really an option for us as a smaller agency)? Do you push a 485 without a date and add one later and re-send the 485?

Thanks for your input!
