I like the way you laid out the information. I did make some comments on the attached draft about having concise language throughout the letter.
I don’t think using the term “APRN” is applicable for this letter. I think what we are specifically trying to get passed is the use of nurse practitioners in home care to certify home health and write orders. APRN refers to nurses who have obtained a masters degree or higher (could be a certified nurse anesthetist).
Also, are we asking for physician assistants to be able to sign orders and certify? What is NAHC proposing in their request? It would make sense to be consistent with NAHC or any other industry leaders.
