That seems like a compliant plan to me; as long as the forms are being provided to the pt, but I could not say for sure. With our agency we can complete paper forms in the home and upload a photo of them to the pt chart. This way pt
has a copy to keep and we have or record of the paperwork electronically.

Hi! We’re trying to reduce duplication in work for our field clinicians. Currently, our process is to have clinicians fill out admission paperwork electronically for our records and then on paper for the client to keep in the home. We’re
thinking about changing our process. We’d have the clinician fill out the paperwork electronically and then offer a copy to be emailed or printed and brought out at the next visit or the client could refuse a copy all together. This would be documented in
the SOC documentation. Do you see any potential compliance issues with this process? Are you using a similar or different process that seems to go smoother?
