It’s possible they have a “support planner” because the client has CDCS. That’s usually the term the County uses for the person who approves the budget with their CDCS. (Fiscal
Entities like Consumer Direction, ACCRA, MRCI, etc).
The County Worker should know which CDCS program the client chose as they typically work closely with the Support Planner for their budget. If they don’t know the Support Planner
contact, they should at least know who the CDCS program is through. Otherwise, the client themselves would know. When we have a client go on CDCS we have to contact both the County and Support Planner to assure we are providing the correct amount services
within the client’s budget.

Hi,
Is anyone having issues getting nursing authorization for AC waiver?
For example, we have a member agency who went through KEPRO to get authorization. KEPRO is not letting them get the authorization, stating they need to go to the county worker, but the county worker is directing them to a “support planner”.
Anyone else experiencing this?
