Yes the other agency would have to do a PEP.  Make sure your claim shows condition code ‘47’- transfer from another Home care agency.

We have a referral for a potential Medicare patient. This patient was in Arizona and had home health care for 1 week.He is now in MN looking for additional home care. Do we start a new episode or do we have to do PEP adjustment episode with specific admission type codes or other codes?
