Please see the attached letter we just received from Health Net regarding the need to bill a RAP and then a final.
Since Health Net says that an OASIS does not need to be sent, then I would think you could use the lowest level HIPPS code of: 1AFK1 and the generic Claim Match Key code of: 11AA11AA11AAAAAAAA on your claims.
It is crazy that they would send this information now after we have all spent months of billing by visit and hours on the phone. So very frustrating. L

I have been billing by visit. The only claims I have heard back on are therapy and they wanted documentation that had already been sent to them. At least I have proof they do exist, even if it was a non payment.

Lol. No, I was told to bill visits. They are confused the same way the VA was a few years back. They use same billing codes but not ame type of billing for the SPECIFIC reason that we do not do oasis for VA clients! Wow HealthNet is sooo much fun.

How are other agencies handling HealthNet wanting a RAP and final claim? Did you have to go back and do a SOC on those patients? Isn't that the only way to get an episode created? They say they don't require an OASIS but want codes that are created from it?!?!?!?!
