MHCA is including this info in today's Informer. Marcus shared the info with us in our recent meeting. The VA Choice program offers the VA sites a different bucket of money and Mpls VA will begin utilizing that bucket of funds as the other funds are decreasing. Working with NetChoice (contracted by VA to manage the VA Choice) has been less than desirable. So, Mpls VA found a "work-around," which is essentially a provider agreement that allow them to access the funds and allow you to avoid the NetChoice challenges. There will be more info at the Provider Fair so I encourage people to go.

Lynette, it is not required that you participate, but if you have clients in the VA Choice, you need to decide whether or not to serve them.

I hope this helps a bit.

Anyone else receive a bulletin announcing a Provider Fair at the Minneapolis VA on 6/15/16.  If I am reading this correctly it is hinting there may be another option for Health Net payments?  See third paragraph

“The purpose of the event is twofold:  First to enroll providers in anew VA program that allows faster payment in the Veterans Choice Program (VCP)

I tried to reach Marcus Syverson that is referenced at the bottom of the bulletin and his voicemail is full .  I did send an email but I imagine he has several hundred of those

Anyone else have any news?
