True, good point. We have 3 of us available to enter them.

Subject: RE: Hospice NOE question
We have found that it is a good idea to have at least two people that can do it. We have our one biller (me) and one of the intake staff that can enter the NOE and this works good for us. When one person is
out of the office then there is someone in the office who can still enter these as Medicare does not allow much time to enter these.

Subject: Hospice NOE question
I’m trying to get a feel for what the industry standard is on submitting the hospice Notice of Election into DDE. Does the billing staff enter this or is it entered by someone other than billing- such as intake staff?
