OK so when you bill do you use Availity? Because the other biller was wondering if we would use a different payer ID for the secure blue? I really appreciate your help.

You will bill the skilled services under Secure Blue, which is the Medicare side of the MSHO product and use PPS episodic billing.
If the client is receiving services through the waiver but are not otherwise covered under Medicare, such as homemaking, you will continue to provide and bill those services as you currently are.

Subject: blue plus msho question
I have a question. When someone is on a Blue Plus MSHO plan with a waiver and they are going to be receiving skilled services that would be covered by the medicare side of the plan, how does that affect billing. How does everyone handle
that?
