Its been a while since we have billed a UHC Medicare replacement plan, but if I would have to guess it would be 1 unit per 15 minutes (yes I agree with you on that), not 1-unit per visit.

One would think but in our experience, the only way they pay is G codes by visits.  Mary (our billing specialist) has spent significant time working with them on getting reimbursed and I “feel” like there are several exceptions we made to the template in order to get reimbursed.

How is everyone billing AARP Medicare advantage through United Healthcare? Our system is generating G codes with 1 unit on each visit. It seems like it should be billing according to Medicare guidelines with the number of 15-minute increments. Thank you!
