Th ONLY LUCK I have getting them paid is calling on a few of my larger ones asking about status because they were 60+ days. I started this process in August. Miraculously they paid them the following week after calling.  I have been doing two calls a week and am down to 3 old claims. Started with over thirty.  The ones I have left are 1 from late October and 2 from November.

This is the email I got from my contact at BCBS....Due to the system issues we had with paying home health services incorrectly earlier this year, there was a trap put in place for all home health claims to be manually processed until we can get the system corrected. Being as the claims are being manually worked, it can take a little longer to process these claims than normal. 

This all goes back to the issues in the beginning of the year that BCBS had! And they still don't have an ETA on when it will be fixed! Like how?! So crazy! And its all plans!

Hello, is anyone else experiencing a delay in Blue Plus processing claims? Our biller has been calling on claims and they state they are manually reviewing the claims without giving a reason but it goes back to claims submitted over 60 days ago.
