We have had a few Aetna Medicare claims and have not had any issues. We send a NOA and then a final and bill the same as we do to traditional Medicare. Did the HIPPS code on your final claim match the HIPPS code on your NOA? Unfortunately,
I do not have any good advice.

Good morning,
I just had my first Aetna Medicare Home Care Client. I sent in the claim just like we do to all of our Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.
Aetna denied stating HCPC code is not valid for dates of service and also my diagnosis code or order they were sent in is wrong.
I talked with our coders and they have used these codes in the past and they are valid.
Codes I69351, E785, I10 are the only codes on the claim.
Hope somebody out there has billed Aetna for Home Health and can help me out here.
I called provider service and they said we would have to change things up…….
Thanks for your help
Becky
