Yes, we have been having that issue as well. Usually when we call, they just tell us it is a pca that needs to be reaffiliated but have never told us they all had to be redone every year.
These are PCAs that have been working for years. This seems to have been triggered in January when they switched from Amerigroup.
The only way we have been able to remedy this is to reaffiliate the pca and resubmit claims.

Hello, one of our sister companies just reached out to me and asked if we are having the same issue as them and I can’t say that we are YET.
They had a client and PCA doing services for months and getting paid, then suddenly all claims started denying for PCA affiliation.
When their biller called BCBS they were told that was because they are required to reaffiliate PCA’s every year with BCBS, this verbiage is not in the policies, but they stated it is in the contract- they don’t have a copy of the contract currently so while they are looking into that I said I would reach out to the billers list. 😊
Does anyone else have to do this?
