Hi.
For home care billing for Humana does anyone use a modifier for PT and OT for the final? Humana is telling us that we need to use the GO modifier for OT and the GP modifier for PT. We do not do this for our
straight Medicare billing so we are wondering why they are requiring it.
Thanks,

Hi there,
Yes Humana deducts 2% sequestration amount from their PPS payments. I just received a Humana PPS payment today and showed the 2% sequestration rate deducted from our payment- shows as CO 253.

Good afternoon,
I am wondering if Human deducts the 2% sequestration rate like Medicare does if billed in PPS format? I am noticing some small remaining balances in some of our AR that seems to be 2% of the amount that they paid on the claims. Just wanting to double check. Thanks!
