Are people getting demand letters? Or is a payer withholding future payments?
Like MCOs do for take backs?

Hello,
I would like to ask how agencies are responding to the VA take back letters. Are you submitting payment? Are you waiting till MHCA meets with VA/Optum? What is the industry doing to
respond?

Hi,
MHCA has been in contact with the VA regarding the take backs from 2020 and they are asking for a list of agency names and contact information to reach out in regard to setting up a meeting with individual providers. MHCA will also be meeting
with them to share our concerns and the reasoning behind why providers feel the take backs are not valid ASAP.
If you are willing to share your agency name and contact information, please let me know.
Thanks!
