Not discussing dollar amounts . . .Since they are treated like PPS each claim is a 30 day period for a total of 48 claims. Incredibly frustrating because we spent HOURS getting paid
for these claims because it was back when they were going through all their transitions, Tri-West/Optum, billing requirement changes, etc.
It started in January with letters appearing to be reprocessing notices with explanation of benefits. Followed shortly by demand letters. We attempted to resolve with a human and
were unsuccessful. We responded via certified letter, waiting to see if we get any sort of response.

Is anyone else receiving requests from the VA for adjustments on their PPS claims that were paid correctly (like Medicare) from 2020 and now are being re-processed as PER VISIT. They
are recouping the difference. We do have an authorization for “bundled” services during this time. This is prior to Optum processing the claims.
