We are processing the claims due to how the clearinghouse is submitting the claims. This is a clearinghouse issue, it should not have processed on our side but since they were submitted electronically we have no control over the system processing these claims.
When I asked her how it could be a clearinghouse issue when other people are having the exact same issue and using a different clearinghouse than I am (I use availity), she didn't have a response except that I should fax or mail my claims to them for 'proper' processing. So I guess I now print all these claims and fax them.

It sounds like it is a clearinghouse issue. I had to have Assurance do a bridge to fix mine so the claims would go because DAH the admit date is always before the statement date for ongoing claims.
TOB 343 is what I am assuming that is rejecting?

But if they're rejecting at the clearinghouse level, there isn't anything to reprocess because optum va didn't actually get the claim, so I can't call them for reprocessing.

You will have to call. They will only (unless you are luckier than I was) re process 5 claims every time you call. I ended up doing a spreadsheet and sending to them. See what they tell you. Every time I call I get different answers.

I did not resubmit. I called Optum and they told me I had to appeal. So far I have sent in 5 appeals.. We don't have alot of veterans right now on services.
