Any just to clarify it is any WAIVER. My counties CM and I went back and for the first 6 months of this year because they stated they were told only the CADI waiver people they had to authorize. I would send in the 5841 and get it rejected saying the person is on a waiver the CM has to do it. I would send that denial to the CM and they would end up doing it. Only took 6 months.

They are going to be thrilled they have to do MSHO people too in 2024 (which is the majority of our clients) .

I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the big change with 2024 Ucare authorization process for Ucare MHSO clients with a waiver CM. According to the new authorization grid that was sent out MSHO members with a waiver are now required to have the waiver CM submit a 5841 form to Ucare for SNV/HHA visits. I have always had to request a 5841 for the CONNECT/SNBC members with a waiver CM but never with MSHO members. I have contacted Ucare regarding this new process and I am waiting for a response back.
