Wanted to send an update, I reached out to the VA directly to see if they could get any answers, here is what I received back, just like I said but I know some are appealing. See below.
This is a known issue and PGBA is aware of it and working to identify the root cause to solve the issue. A claims project will be run to adjust all claims denied in error. I can’t give you a date on when that fix will be in place, but soon I hope. There isn’t anything the agencies are doing wrong, just a flaw in the system

I have gotten the error you show below. I found out if it is your first claim for this resident to the VA and you send as a 211, I get that error. I change the claim to 213 and it pays everytime. Now I change my claim before it goes out.

What does the CBSA code have to do with the rejection of “PAYER DISCHARGE STATUS IS EQUAL TO 30 ADMIT DATE IS BEFORE THE STATEMENT FROM DATE” though?
I will call them again today before doing appeals- we have over 70 claims.

I did not resubmit. I called Optum and they told me I had to appeal. So far I have sent in 5 appeals.. We don't have alot of veterans right now on services.

Traci, I went into each individual one and RS we had a lot as well! So far, they have not rejected again. But it took them about 24 hours to reject the first time.

I just realized all ours rejected as well and we use Waystar. What the heck. Did you have to go into each claim and RS in Waystar?
Did yours go through? I have a lot and don’t want to RS if it doesn’t work.
